Only You

Has it ever occurred to anyone that this song is talking about our loving God; the only real and true love.

It reminds me of much of John 17:3-

And this is eternal life: [it means] to know (to perceive, recognize, become acquainted with, and understand) You, the only true and real God, and [likewise] to know Him, Jesus [as the] Christ (the Anointed One, the Messiah), Whom You have sent.

God sent His only Beloved Son to earth because He loves me [John 3:16].

God sent His only Beloved Son to reveal Him as my Father Who tenderly loves me [John 16:27].

God made His only Beloved Son visible as the Man Jesus from Nazareth to undo all the works of the devil [1 John 3:8].

The Beloved Son of God Who came as Jesus the Man from Nazareth to be the Anointed One has already disarmed principalities and powers [Colossians 2:15] .

He was anointed to [Luke 4:18-19] :

1. Preach the good news to the poor;
2. Announce release to the captives of satan;
3. Recover sight to the blind (physical and spiritual];
4. Deliver the oppressed; and
5. Proclaim salvation and the profusely abounding free favors of God!

Christ's Resurrection speaks volumes of His Anointing!

Who is the true and real love? The God of my Lord Jesus the Christ!
