Radical Grace Through Radical Means!

Taking Your Faith To The Next Level

The sharing of this wonderful article has been inspired by the following scriptures:

1 Thessalonians 5:20-21
20 Do not spurn the gifts and utterances of the prophets [do not depreciate prophetic revelations nor despise inspired instruction or exhortation or warning].

21 But test and prove all things [until you can recognize] what is good; [to that] hold fast.

1 Corinthians 1:12-13
12 What I mean is this, that each one of you [either] says, I belong to Paul, or I belong to Apollos, or I belong to Cephas (Peter), or I belong to Christ.

13 Is Christ (the Messiah) divided into parts? Was Paul crucified on behalf of you? Or were you baptized into the name of Paul?

1 Corinthians 3:4-9

4
For when one says, I belong to Paul, and another, I belong to Apollos, are you not [proving yourselves] ordinary (unchanged) men?

5 What then is Apollos? What is Paul? Ministering servants [not heads of parties] through whom you believed, even as the Lord appointed to each his task:

6 I planted, Apollos watered, but God [all the while] was making it grow and [He] gave the increase.

7 So neither he who plants is anything nor he who waters, but [only] God Who makes it grow and become greater.

8 He who plants and he who waters are equal (one in aim, of the same importance and esteem), yet each shall receive his own reward (wages), according to his own labor.

9 For we are fellow workmen (joint promoters, laborers together) with and for God; you are God's garden and vineyard and field under cultivation, [you are] God's building.

God desires to know you intimately, and He has a plan for you that is like no one else's. I hope you have a deep, heart-level relationship with Him because God doesn't just want you to know about Him, He wants you to know Him!

I remember the emptiness I felt as a young Christian. In an effort to fill the void, I occupied myself with lifeless religious duties and rituals. I was doing all the 'right' things, but I was not experiencing deep, satisfying contentment and joy.

I sw God as big and powerful, and I certainly didn't want to disobey Him or live outside the walls of His provision and protection. But I was not fulfilled because I didn't know where to look. My "works" attitude ignored the fact that God cared about me and wanted to spend time with me and give me the life I longed for. This went on for several years until I realized that true inner joy can ONLY come as a result of living life in the abiding presence of God.

How about you? Are you stuck in a lifeless, passionless faith, doing all the "Christian" things, but not experiencing true intimacy with the Sacior? If so, I want you to experience the same breakthrough I did!

Ephesians 1:17 says, I keep asking that the God our Lord Jesus Christ, the glorious Father, may give you the Spirit of wisdom and revelation, so that you may know him better (NIV).

You were created to enjoy a living, thriving relationship with God that comes from understanding His heart for you. There's something supernaturally wonderful about reading the Word of God and hearing Him speak to you. When His Word gets 'inside' you, it begins to change the 'outside' of you. It transform your perspective, and gives you the strength you need to experience victory.

God invites you to...

Fearlessly and confidently and boldly draw near to the throne of grace.. that we may receive mercy...and find grace to help in good time for every need...(Hebrews 4:16 AMP).

Are you ready to draw near to God and jump into a whole new level of relationship with Him? You can be as close to God as you want to be -- you can have as much of His life as you want to have. But you have to be intentional. It's not complicated, but it does require your whole heart.

God is calling you to a whole new level of living. I encourage you to take a step and find that intimacy with God you've been looking for.

Labor Pains

John 16:21-22 likened Jesus' disciples to a woman in labor.
21A woman, when she gives birth to a child, has grief (anguish, agony) because her time has come. But when she has delivered the child, she no longer remembers her pain (trouble, anguish) because she is so glad that a man (a child, a human being) has been born into the world.

22So for the present you are also in sorrow (in distress and depressed); but I will see you again and [then] your hearts will rejoice, and no one can take from you your joy (gladness, delight).

John 16:33 is the epidural:
I have told you these things, so that in Me you may have [perfect] peace and confidence. In the world you have tribulation and trials and distress and frustration; but be of good cheer [take courage; be confident, certain, undaunted]! For I have overcome the world. [I have deprived it of power to harm you and have conquered it for you.]
This series of free pregnancy e-books serves to give an idea of the pregnancy experience. Very suited for men. May this series help in relating better to John 16:21-22 when we experience labor pains in our Christian walk. For a start, may it help the men love and appreciate their wives just that little bit more.
